Michael Bell - Media Director
 
 
   

Michael worked as a stockbroker in the late 80s and early 90s before beginning a career in television, which has seen him work as a cameraman for Granada, The BBC and various independent companies.

Michael's television experience was gained during his time at Granada, where he started out as a researcher on digital channels, before accepting the opportunity to become a cameraman.

Over the next 4 years, Michael clocked up 4,600 hours of live operating experience, gaining a detailed understanding of both the technical and artistic skills involved in being a cameraman.

Since then, he has worked for the BBC and various independent companies and advertising agencies.

April 89
Began career as a stockbroker at Charterhouse Tilney.

Sept 92
Left to work in Boston, U.S.A. for brokers Thomas James Associates.

Sept 95
Started a placement at MTV New York and worked on the first series of "Real World" and "The Grind".

August 97
Set up a movie memorabilia company, trading on the Internet and at TV and film exhibitions.

August 98
Started work at Granada Television.

November 2002
Became a freelance cameraman and assistant director. Most work has been at Mersey T.V. on "Hollyoaks", and the last episodes of "Brookside".

Today
Media director for Crosby.
