Crosby
today, announced that it is running a Santa Letter line for
Jospice to aid with donations to the charity, and also provide
a service to local people.
Today
Crosby celebrated 6 years in business as a limited
company.
Crosby started as a home based business back in 1997 and has
grown rapidly into a multi million pound organisation within
the last 6 years, becoming a pioneer in ringtones in 2002, it
has rapidly expanded into other communications areas, developing
communications solutions for companies based world wide.
Crosby
Herald organise the Crosby Summer Fun run every summer for local
people and all monies raised via sponsership are donated to
local charities such as Jospice and the Marina Dalglish Appeal.
Matt
Wilson, Managing Director says, Crosby are moving into a new
head office in Liverpool due to expansion of the business. We've
outgrown our 2000 square foot in Burlington House where we have
been based for the last 3 years. The decision was made to move
to new offices with more space and better parking facilities.
Today,
Crosby have committed to self power generation which is to be
installed in its multi-million pound data centre over the coming
months.
Following
on from its early press release on the 4th of April, Crosby have announced today that it will be extending
its previous offer to donate 50% of its profits to Jospice international
until 2006.
Crosby had sponsored this years Liverpool Film Festival which runs
from 23rd to the 25th of September 2005.
Matt Wilson, Managing Director said, "we like to get involved
with local businesses and organisations and the Liverpool Film
Festival provides great opportunities for emerging filmmakers
in the Liverpool area. As Crosby work in the media arena, we
believe it is a great opportunity to get involved and sponsor
the festival."
Crosby has sponsored the Sefton Triathlon, operated
by a local charity in Crosby, Liverpool. Crosby have provided
a website design and hosting as part of the sponsorship.
Crosby today announced it's accreditation as an 'Investor
in People'.
Crosby has met the criteria for the Investor in People
Award, fulfilling the key principle of commitment to the
continued and measured development and training of staff.
Crosby have announced today that, they have teamed up
Jospice International based in Thornton, Liverpool to donate
50% of the profits from Crosby directory enquiry
service over the next 3 months.
Broadsystem
is the UK's leading provider of outsourced marketing communications.
They provide data-driven customer contact services and focus
on three areas of expertise: customer relationship management,
contact centre services and media services.
Crosby
were approached by Victim Support for a proposed solution for
the new sunrise appeal due to begin Feb 16th. The proposed idea
was to allow donations by text message, so anyone, anywhere
could make a donation by simply texting into an advertised telephone
number and the money raised would go towards the sunrise appeal.
Gas
Logic the Certification Gas Training Centre, approached Crosby
for an integrated voice and fax solution that would allow completed
certification forms and details to be collected automatically
by fax. The solution would also allow contact via a national
rate number in case some applications do not have a fax machine.
Crosby
worked with Alder Hey Hospital, Liverpool to setup a donation
by text message system. The service which was advertised both
in the hospital and on 107.6 Juice FM over the Christmas period
received a substantial amount of donations, all at £3 each.
