CrosbyCam Re-launch
Crosby announced today that it has re-launched it’s
community website for Crosby
in Liverpool. The site that is available at the address www.crosbycam.co.uk
has been totally transformed.
Matthew Wilson, Director said, back in 2003 we launched the
site and it was very successful, we had over 35,000 hits within
the first week. The camera specially was very busy with many
ex-pats looking at the village and trying to identify people
going past. Unfortunately the camera was vandalised and never
replaced. In the last 3 months, we have totally re-vamped the
site, added 2 new cameras and developed a live video system
as our traffic cam. We’ve also got a lot plans to expand
the site even more and are actually looking for people to help
with the site. Our intention is for this website to be a community
website, with limited commercial use and free access to information.
The new Crosbycam website includes:
· · Live Traffic Cameras for Liverpool Road (JamCam)
· · New High Resolution Crosby Village Camera.
· · New Forum
· · Local History Section
· · Free Local Business Listings Service.
· · Events and What’s On Guide
· · Photo Gallery
· · Iron Men walk.
· · Lost Pets Section.
