Crosby Wins Multi-Million Pound Contract
Liverpool based Crosby
has won a Multi million pound contract to supply
London based telecom's company Intelliplus PLC
with software and mobile related services. Crosby
who tendered for this business along with other
southern based but larger businesses were awarded
the contract on Friday 25th July 2003.
Matthew Wilson, Managing Director of Crosby
says "This is a significant contract for
our company and will bring lots of revenue into
Liverpool. We are very excited about this new
opportunity and what it will mean for our company.
The contract will create at least 10 new jobs
in the local area and will enable re-investment
in our own infrastructure"
Crosby is currently run by two brothers, Matthew
and Steven Wilson who have been running the
Liverpool based operation since 1999 and have
built up a world-wide client base such as Disney,
The BBC, Daily Mail, Barclays Bank and EMAP
who own Radio City and many others.

explained " My skilled technical team have
worked very hard on the tender to satisfy Intelliplus
that Crosby technically could deliver the product,
on-time and support it in the years to come.”

and who designed the infrastructure that will
be used for this contract says "Intelliplus
have chosen Crosby’s statistical analysis
system because of it’s scalable architecture.
Our platform runs on state of the art UNIX systems
at our custom built hosting facility, this offers
Intelliplus unparalleled performance with Crosby’s
proven expertise in this area.”
Crosby provides many state of the art technology
services to small and large size businesses
as well as individuals. Crosby's head office
in Burlington House, Crosby currently employs
12 people and has grown steadily over the past
4 years.
Crosby who are a well known name in the telecommunications
arena were recently asked to be filmed by Tiscali
another telecommunications provider and customer
of Crosby to create a documentary available
on CD-ROM for potential customers for Tiscali.
The CD was sent out to millions of client’s
worldwide and brought Crosby a 50% rise in business.
Crosby's broad range of products include games,
logos and ringtones for mobile phones, telephone
systems and internet services to television
and radio broadcasting.
