Crosby completes deal with Telco Games

Crosby has signed contracts to work with Telco Games, the leading games industry distributor to provide a delivery platform and statistical package.

Crosby was asked by Telco Games to build a custom delivery platform to allow their content to be delivered to customers phones for Java Games and other mobile content.

The platform installed in Crosby's data centre is linked with Crosby's existing statistical package to produce real-time statistical data for game downloads, popularity and a complete billing system in order to demonstrate to clients the ability to bill to a mobile telephone and have reliable statistics.

Matthew Wilson M.D., of Crosby said, "Crosby and Telco Games have worked on several projects before we supplied the platform for their own use. As suppliers of mobile content and delivery platforms we knew exactly what Telco Games needed and the timelines involved to deploy it in the market, now Telco Games have a very reliable platform with excellent on-line statistics and management interface that will add value to their business going forward."

Craig Stannard, Content Manager in Crosby stated that "this is a great opportunity and is happy because this is a two way relationship that allows us to share content as well as supply a platform for Telco Games to bill and deliver reliably."

Crosby have also supplied a connection onto its SMS platform that allows Telco Games to bill amounts to users handsets rather than using the orthodox method of a premium rate number by telephone. Premium SMS allows Telco Games to run extensive demonstrations, bill chosen amounts to handsets and work closely with Crosby on testing new content and services.
