Crosby's playout services offer substantial savings by eliminating the need to
pay for diverse connections.
Operated by experienced staff, the system is highly redundant
and situated in a high grade environment with electrical supply
redundancy, climate control and fire suppression. The many options
available include voice-over, multi-language options and channel-ident.
Direct To Home (DTH)
 Crosby's
encoding and multiplex platform allows you to uplink TV and
radio services to Astra 28.2 E - the satellite that carries
the majority of channels on the Sky platform. 1 for 1 redundancy
ensures complete reliability while Crosby's industry-beating
prices ensures complete satisfaction.
Our strict policy of operating systems with no single point
of failure includes the satellite itself, of course, and our
comprehensive service includes our own space segment and uplinking
through our partner. Crosby's access to the Sky adaptation hub
means your channel can be integrated with the EPG.
Best of all, the co-location of our partners uplink and playout
facilities eliminates potentially expensive circuit costs and ensures
you receive the best possible value for money.
Studio Time
 Crosby
in conjunction with its partners also have access to additional
services. Studio 2 is a fully-equipped digital television studio
with capability and flexibility to spare. Air conditioned with
a resin floor for unhindered tracking, it offers a monopole
saturated lighting grid and well equipped galleries.
As you'd expect from a modern TV studio it's switchable between
4:3 and 16:9 and as you can see from the specification, it has
an impressive equipment list. What the specification doesn't
show is the superb working environment Crosby offers with spacious
production offices and onsite catering.
