Crosby "PhotoMe" is an innovative but simple application that allows
your customers to send pictures taken with a mobile phone directly to a secure
website for viewing and retrieval at a later date.
Images stored on the site appear in the same way as if they had been taken with a
digital camera, and can be accessed and downloaded using any standard web browser.
How it works
- We provide you with a unique "PhotoMe" website.
- A customer registers their details with your website.
- The customer takes a picture with their mobile phone, as they would do
normally.
- Presented with a number of options by the phone, the customer chooses to
send the picture by e–mail, and specifies the advertised "PhotoMe"
e–mail address as the destination.
- The picture arrives and is automatically stored in that customer's account
on the website.
- The customer accesses the website with their unique login details. They can
then view or download their photos and adjust personal settings.
Benefits
- Convenient: Users can easily submit photographs on the move
from anywhere using their mobile phones, and by sending their pictures to the
website, they needn't worry about running out of storage space on their
phones.
- Affordable: Your customers are charged a small GPRS data fee
(normally around 6p) for submitting a photo. No premium text messaging or
subscription costs are issued.
- Intuitive: Easy–to–use interface, and submitted
photos are automatically organised by the website.
- Flexible: Users can choose whether to display pictures to the
public or keep them private, and customise their accounts according to personal
preference.
- Adaptable: The appearance of the website can be easily
modified to encourage customers to visit regularly, and for an additional cost
we can add the capability for users to submit and store videos on the site.
Costs
Set up Fee: £599 – including up to three hours spent designing the site
to suit your specific needs.
Rental cost: £25.00 a month.
Optional Extras
Video Submissions – £399. Allows the submission and storage of video
clips on the website (Videos can be played directly from the site).
