Providing recorded information to callers that is updated regularly or
just one off recordings works well, but there are times when you need a
live audio stream to be played to a differing quantity of callers on
your line. Using our broadcasting services you can connect live feeds
directly into our system to transmit up to 240 live feeds of 8K audio
at any time.
Live feeds are available by using one of the following mediums:
- Leased line connections
- Direct Copper/Fibre Connections
- Radio (microwave) connections
- Satellite Connections
- GSM/PCM Connections
- Frame Relay IP Connections
If you are not using an IP connection we can just support the regular
phone line if needed. Once connected we can arrange your feed to be
either a temporary or permanent arrangement.
Network Interfacing
If you're connecting your live audio feed into our system, we can support the following Signalling Capabilities:
- " VoIP (H.323 with H.245, Q.931, G.732.1, G.711, G.729.a, voice
and data G.726, GSM) network protocols. All protocols are considered
standard with " SS7 mature signalling interfaces."
- Digital (Full and fractional E1/T1, ISDN, R1/R2)
- We also support Analogue and International Protocol Conversion
for when it is needed by your application.
- A simple "Line Level" -10DB audio screened audio signal that your
equipment must comply with provides standard audio input into our
system.
External Input
If needed we also have available an external input server which
will allow us to connect an I/O device over a medium like a leased
line, the internet, SMS, radio or any way of getting a switch output
to us. This can be used to change around recordings or simply
disable/enable your line when you want to. Some customers already
using this incorporate this feature for a weather system so events
can be cancelled/re-opened based on links provided by the
MET office.
The external input feature offers voltage free (dry) contacts with
NO/NC circuitry if needed. For heavy loads (over 1VA) a contactor is
supplied free.
