So how does it work, how can I take advantage of premium rate numbers?
Premium rate services are usually charged at a higher rate than ordinary
telephone calls. Customers pay for premium rate calls through their
telephone bills in the normal way. The revenue from the overall charge
to customers is shared between the telephone company (for the carriage
of the call) and the service provider (the organisation providing the
information or entertainment service).
Thousands of companies, ranging from large media-owned organisations
to smaller specialist operations, provide a wide range of entertainment
and information services accessible by telephone, fax or personal
computer. Services are widely advertised across all media.
An information provider could be anyone from a major TV channel
or Media group through to a private person advertising one number.
You can set your own premium rate service up by buying a number from
us. Numbers can be bought singly or in blocks of 10, 100, 1000. Prices
do range but there are no monthly charges and you can choose the type
of service you wish to run.
If you want to run a service which has already been setup, tried and
tested before then see our applications section for "out of the box"
solutions meaning you pay your money get the service all ready to use
and you just advertise it, that's it!
We also co-locate equipment, this means that we or you can supply a
computer that you rent from us , or you can supply all the hardware for
us to connect to our phone lines that "SIT" in our server room facility,
this way its backed up by batteries and protected. See Renting a
Virtual Server for more info.
If your looking to run a service which integrates our SMS facilities
and IVR then visit out SMS applications section were there are many ideas

Please look below for our current tariffs which we pay you when a

Remember per minute means you get £.xx per min of the call at all
times no off or on peak.
You are paid on the same date of every month in which you started the
service, i.e. if you started the service on the 4th of October you will
receive your revenue share on the 4th of every month. Payments are made
by cheque or by BACS in UK Pound sterling.
Please remember all premium rate numbers are regulated by a body called
ICSTIS which regulates this part of the industry. Please visit our comms
guru for more information and documents on premium rate numbers or visit the
ICSTIS website at www.icstis.org.uk
